Al.Arte is an independent, international platform that emerged from al.arte.magazine, an online arts and culture magazine that was established in 2012.
We aim to capture and present cultural production from mainly the Mashriq, Maghreb, and their diasporas. Serving as a creative map for a wide audience, Al.Arte zooms in on visual arts, music, theatre, film, dance, and highlights other performing arts, as well as literature and other media.
Aside from our online presence, we also organize a variety of artistic and cultural projects, such as exhibitions, workshops, and film festivals.
